Noobs. A different team from my school last year twisted one so much it snapped.
I picked up the opponents mobile goal and stacked a couple cones on it, all while my drive team is yelling at me that I had the wrong mobile goal.
I’m sure then the opposing alliance was a-ok with that oops…
Made a 12 motor 1:3 turbo drive with 4" omnis.
1:3 or 3:1?
1:3, I think. Every rotation of motor, 3 of the wheel
It is usually read as input gear to output gear, unless specified otherwise. So 1:3 would be a small gear to a big gear, geared down for 3x Torque and 1/3rd speed. You would ordinarily say 3:1 for what you mean.
OH, thanks
OH. Are you a speed cuber? If so why is One Handed you favorite event?
Ours plays Let It Go from Frozen…
In past years I’ve had it play “Never Gonna Give You Up,” and John Cena’s theme song.
…What?
lol
Someone who can solve a rubik’s cube fast if you don’t know what they are you probably aren’t
@Robo_Eng_13 you capitalized OH which in the cubing world stands for one handed solving.
I see.
I would compete in speedcubing but there’s no comps in SD
at ss nationals we found out one of our wheel axles was bent impacting our gears so we had to remove it, we were already on the field and were next match so we just removed the two rear wheels and had a 3 wheel clawbot (5th wheel was rotated 90 on the back) and the commentators absolutely loved it, all these big robots then theres this small clawbot doing wheelies whenever it had a star because it only had 3 wheels, fun times
Accidentally grab another team’s robot for a match
as in “take a robot off of a table” grab or “claw attached to different team’s robot” grab?
I accidentally took another teams robot off the table and was about to bring it to the field oof. It was my first competition
