That would be quite the challenge for engineers
Not only would the bot have to be bouyant, but you would also need to waterproof all of your powered components, like motors, the brain, and the battery.
Along with this, they would also have to figure out how to make a proper motor for moving in the water.
Odds are, Vex will not have any sort of water competition.
By hand or with their robot?
and all while upside down >:3
Robots should be able to handle a small amount of moisture - basically, just as long as it doesnāt actually get inside the brain, itās fine.
See the blue box. 3 DRIVERS! Here is an amazing spoiler for everyone that VEX dropped for free! Match load interactions! Now we can already start designing the robot as we can see the similarity in Over Under. This is also just spectulation so who know might actually happen.
If we do need to launch Game Objects like in Over Under, What do you guys think the meta will be:
Technically this is possible. You would need sevral speakers positioned at precise locations and playing a very specific frequency and have the objecs be VERRRRY light. like a miligram in weight.
I think: Water game isnāt next year, itās two years from now. First, they might have the precursor to water game, Under Over, a flight-based dodging game, and water game might be called Under Through, a water-tunneling game. They need time to develop Vex V6 and V7, flight and water systems, respectively.
Hopefully includes a neuralink to the Lama Glama brain
But in serious, hopefully next year there will be some extra challenge to scoring an object in a goal (like TiP or starstruck). The game elements will probably revolve around something similar to a cube shape.
Oh, yeah, we can have like, a propeller, and there could be like, a raft thatās the size of the max robot size?
Engineers would have a great time trying to make a robot light enough to fit on the raft without it sinking, but also efficient enough to actually score.
It would be an interesting - and potentially expensive - season, for sure.
But then they would have to re engineer the entire like motors and brain and sensors and what not. Not to mention the problem with like a team making a buoyant boat.
By the way, my school is making an underwater drone in my robotic science class. So if anyone has any questions on water related robots just let me know.
it would be over under but in the pitch black water and no referees. New addition for @Gigahertz.t We will also allow llamas to stand around and spit at any people they see including drivers.
In the club we made a bet where everyone would bet a dollar on what would be the next game in VRC and U, time is running out and the truth is I have no idea and I want to win those 25 dollars, so someone, ENLIGHTEN ME PLEASE!!!
