That is 3141V’s change up robot that they discovered worked surprisingly well with the triballs.
3141S’s change up robot, sorry. Editing still not a thing ![]()
Im making a horizontal scissor lift to be a descorer
Be very careful with the possession limit if you do that. Most likely the way you intend to use it would be illegal.
I am thinking of using a 6m drive (280 rpm) and a DR4B. Knowing that a DR4B needs 2 motors to function, I was wondering how I would make a flex wheel intake/claw for the end of the DR4B. Any ideas?
I’m not too worried about it the possession trick is to line them up and just push them out of there but thanks for the concern
Would you suggest Protobot or Fusion 360 to be the more useful software for prototyping?
for cad scans I would use Protobot that’s what I’m using and onshape
if you are not on windows you could use Wine
Plus throwing the triballs from the opponents team goal to your other team on ur zone, though am assuming it wont be easy as that
I’m doing a 4 motor, 480 rpm drive on 4 inch omni’s
That is what our robot is designed to do
I designed the robot before the manual came out. we made a 2.0 robot so that we get elevation points.
I’ll release the cad files for it in a couple days.
That likely going to be too fast. You’ll have little pushing power and may burn out.

Will you post it on here
I’m excited to see what you came up with!
yes, I just need a couple of days
Pushing acorns does not count at a possession according to the rulebook
Careful with that. I had the same idea before I looked at the manual. I recommend looking at SG2 in the game manual and the dangers of using horizontal expansion as a defensive or descoring method. In the “Violation Notes” section, it says,
“The primary intent of this rule is to limit defensive horizontal expansion. As such, Robots who
choose to expand horizontally in the vicinity of opponent Goals or Match Load Bars may be
subject to rule G14, and will not receive the ‘benefit of the doubt’ in the case of any Head
Referee judgment calls.”
